But there’s a big difference between getting a good deal on a car and choosing to have LASIK performed simply based on price. Your investment in vision correction should reflect how much you value your health and vision. So, instead of looking for LASIK deals with a discount LASIK provider, your vision is best served by choosing a highly qualified surgeon who works with the most advanced LASIK technologies available to improve your vision.

Tax Deductible. LASIK may be a tax-deductible medical expense, provided your total medical expenditures for the year exceed a certain percentage of your annual income.
While it pays to be cost-conscious, when it comes to your health and vision it is worth it to make the investment in quality care.
